Totally remodelled, this old farmhouse from the 1800s retains 
all its original architectural charm.  The farmhouse is built on 
a hill surrounded by woods, just outside the towns of Terricciola 
and Lajatico.  The latter is an ancient village rich in Etruscan 
and medieval remains, where one may admire the ruins of 
venerable castles such as the Palazzo Pretorio and the 
Rocca di Pietracassia.

The farmhouse is in a perfect location for organising a variety 
of excursions to major Tuscan historical-artistic points of 
interest; Volterra, San Gimigniano, Siena, Florence, Lucca 
and Pisa are all within a short distance and the Mediterranean 
itself is only 30 short kilometres away.

For its guests enjoyment the farmhouse features a beautiful 
swimming pool that affords a breathtaking view of the 
surrounding countryside, a tennis court and table tennis.
The typical traditional Tuscan farmhouse style is also 
apparent in the interior design of the seven apartments
